SPECIAL EVENTS Coming Up

Emergency Preparedness Fair

Saturday, October 12, 2024

1:00 to 4:00 pm

This event is a great opportunity for us to come together as a community, learn important safety tips, and have a little fun in the process.

Highlights of the Fair:

Fire Truck, EMSA, and Police Vehicles! Our local fire department, EMSA, and police will be on-site with their vehicles for part of the afternoon. This is a wonderful chance for both kids and adults to see these amazing vehicles up close.

Booths and Keynote Speakers! We’ll have a variety of booths providing helpful information on preparedness, as well as keynote speakers to share valuable insights on staying safe and ready for emergencies.

This is a perfect occasion to invite your neighbors, family, and friends. Preparedness is something that can benefit all of us, and it’s even better when we can learn and grow together. Plus, it’s a fun way to connect with our community!

Hello Neighbor

This Is Who We Are

We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We’re a Christian faith, and we seek to follow the greatest commandments: to love God and love our neighbor.

We believe that God has a plan for His children to return to live in Heaven with Him. The key to this plan is our Savior, Jesus Christ, who died so we might live again. We learn about the Savior’s life and God’s plan for us through the Bible, Book of Mormon, and inspired teachings of prophets and leaders. We show our love by keeping God’s commandments, loving our families, and serving in our communities.

Services

We Believe in Service

That includes people who are members of our faith and those aren’t. We are happy to share- here are some ways that we do that.

FamilySearch

Our church sponsors familysearch.org, the largest collection of family history and genealogical data in the world. With a physical headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, this website is free for all to use and discover their own heritage.

JustServe

In an effort to make service opportunities more discoverable, members of our faith contact local charitable organizations to assemble a searchable, online list of good works that need doing at justserve.org

Come and See

Room for Everyone

Members of our faith are from all walks of life, each with stories of challenge and heartbreak. We all need healing. And there is room in our hearts for you as well.
